Facilitator Job Posting
Parkland Valley Sport, Culture & Recreation District is hiring a facilitator to conduct audits of indoor and outdoor public environments in small communities around Yorkton and Melville. The facilitator will work with people living with dementia and their caregivers to provide recommendations for better accessibility and more dementia friendly considerations. New Program! Rural Recreation Spaces Assessment
Rural Recreation Facilities Assessment using Age- and Dementia-Friendly Lenses is a new project launched in April 2022 to encourage rural recreation facilities to be more inclusive and accessible.
The project’s vision is for communities and sport, culture, and recreation organizations in the rural areas of our district to have inclusive and accessible spaces for seniors including those living with dementia and their care partners.
